For thirty plus years I've mined the area between many influences : Buddhist and Christian figurative sculpture , Folk and visionary artists, creating decades long series such as " Everyday Saints ", and " The Somnambulists ". 

Every piece I make is a conversation with the other sculptures I've made...in that sense, I think of my art , spread around the United States, and internationally , as a family . I would love to know that they are continually conversing with one another and discussing the power and magic they are having in their " families" lives !

As an arts educator, I often told my students that the experience in the studio is akin to a " psychodrama" , pitting the artist against their own psyche. I still believe that the triumphs and setbacks in the studio are the dynamics that create art that transcends style and fashions..that is timeless and relevant.

My pieces stand as testament to my very fortunate life and long career as an artist .
